Thrilled to be on the road again..
Except for Broadway musicals and a few select appearances, Toni Braxton hasn't done many live performances in the past decade. But that's about to change.
The R&B diva is embarking on her first tour in 10 years to support her latest album, "Libra." The tour will kick off March 10 in Atlantic City, N.J., and end July 3 in Houston at the Essence Music Festival.
"I'm thrilled to be going out on the road again," Braxton said Friday in a statement to The Associated Press. "I can't wait to bring not only the hits that people know and love but to share the new music from `Libra' with the audience."
Braxton, who is best known for hits such as "Breathe Again," "You're Makin' Me High" and "Love Shoulda Brought You Home," has starred on Broadway in "Aida" and "Beauty and the Beast."

Jessica Simpson's cheating heart? This week's Us Weekly cover features a picture of Jessica Simpson looking back over her shoulder with a come-hither look and a headline that reads, "Scandal! She Was With Another Man While Married." Though rumors about Simpson hooking up with various big names have been circulating for a while, the Us story is the first with several on-the-record witnesses testifying to the fact: "As the not-yet-divorced Jessica Simpson carries on a sexy relationship with Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, sources tell Us the pair first hooked up in 2004, while Simpson was still wed to Nick Lachey," says Us. Simpson's rep, Rob Shuter, is of course denying the story, calling it "Not true, not true." Someone at the magazine, though, talking to the Lowdown, shot back: "This is a woman who lied to the public and probably her husband about her marriage until the bitter end. Enough said." Britney Spears: For the latest news on the singer, fans should check out the February 27 issues of People magazine, which features an in depth interview with the star. Don't expect to find any new spin on the recent driving mistake she made by having her son in her lap instead of his car seat. She still blames that one on the paparazzi. Spears said, "Princess Diana got killed by one of these people. They're crossing the line." She did tell her interviewer that she has asked the police in the past to help her when photographers chase her on the road, but was told that the authorities could not help. How about a fully armed Sherman Tank? That would keep the camera folks off Spears' tail.
