Dane Cook's Brother Speaks out!
Dane Cook
Dane Cook's brother, Darryl McCauley, tells Star that Dane and Jessica Simpson have a platonic relationship. "They worked together on the film Employee of the Month and they had a very good relationship doing the film together," McCauley, the vice president of Dane's Boston-based entertainment company Great Dane Enterprises, tells Star. "They seemed to hit it off. As far as anything beyond that, it's nothing more than hyperbole. They're friends."
In reference to reports romantically linking Jessica and Dane, his brother tells Star, "Those are all frivolous claims." But, Darryl adds, "There's no such thing as bad press. It's certainly keeping his name out there. We all get a pretty big kick out of it."
Darryl also quashes whispers of even a crush between the Dane and Jessica: "They were co-stars on the movie and the set was very light and funny — a lot of laughs. No crushes."
Darryl is also quick to add, "Dane does have a girlfriend. She's been saying, 'Oh my goodness, don't believe anything you hear.'"Jessica and Dane have never had any dates either, Darryl claims: "The cast went out while they were in New Mexico, so yes, they've gone out as a group, but as far as one-on-one or anything of that nature, no, that's not accurate."
Darryl tells Star that his brother described Jessica as "just a very talented actress, very nice, and just a sweet person." Jessica didn't speak of her split from Nick Lachey on the set of the film, Dane told Darryl. "She didn't really bring her personal life to the set. The set was a sanctuary for her."

Heidi & Seal's First Year: A Fiesta!
Heidi Klum and Seal
Heidi Klum got an "Unforgettable" serenade from husband Seal during their first-anniversary party at the beachfront bar Cocodrilla in Costa Careyes, Mexico, where the couple tied the knot last year.
After a mariachi group and a Cuban band played, Seal crooned the romantic Nat King Cole song, among others, to a visibly touched Klum as 25 family members and friends looked on.
"Heidi said, 'Encore! Encore! One more time!,' " an observer tells us. "He sang four or five songs, including 'Mona Lisa.' She was very happy."
While Klum and Seal mingled with their loved ones (including kids Leni, 2, and 8-month-old Henry), sipped margaritas and mango daiquiris, and nibbled on finger foods like spring rolls, olives, and veggies, they also carved out some special couple time. "They were flirting all night," says our insider.
