David Arculeta’s First Single Drops
American Idol runner-up David Archuleta’s first single, “Crush,” debuted on Friday.
The 17-year-old singer was reportedly shaking while the song played out on the syndicated radio program Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
But the tremors were for nothing, listeners couldn’t get enough of the diminutive Idol star.
“I am, like, in tears,” one fan called in to gush. “You are absolutely amazing. You have no idea. You’re so talented. You’re going to have an amazing career.”
Another fan added, “I hate it when they call you little because you’re the biggest man in town.”
Archuleta’s album which has yet to be named drops Nov. 4.

With the release of CRUSH to i-tunes and Amazon on 8/12, David has delivered an amazing first single to his fans, and the public. It is rhythmic, David's superior vocals soar and are identifiable throughout, has a catchy beat.. Hey-> I watched lotsa American Bandstand back in the day :)
His older fans like me find themselves humming along unconsciously, and the verses transport the listener back to those bygone days of school girl and schoolboy CRUSHES... It has an appeal across a very broad spectrum of listeners, and should effectively silence the detractors and critics who didn't believe he had mainstream appeal. CRUSH is the catapult for David to continue his growth and evolution as an artist - I ANTICIPATE MANY MANY YEARS OF OUTSTANDING MUSIC FROM HIM. TAKE A BOW DAVID... YOU'VE ARRIVED.
Awesome!! I <3 David Archuelta!! He is awesome and i love his song"Crush". It rocks like him!
