Singer said to have had secret meeting with US baseball star
Madonna apparently dined out last week with Alex Rodriguez – the man she was accused of having an affair with earlier in the year.
The pair are said to have gone to great lengths to keep the meeting at New York’s Dos Caminos restaurant quiet. ‘Madonna entered through the front door half an hour after Alex arrived and had her security guards check the exits before she sat down at a quiet corner table,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.
‘When the meal was over they left by separate exits.’ The singer, 50, was forced to issue a statement after the New York Yankees’ baseball star, 33, announced his split from wife Cynthia in July.
Cynthia’s lawyer cited Alex’s friendship with Madonna as the ‘final straw’ in the breakdown of their marriage.
‘I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez,’ Madge, who is married to Guy Ritchie, 40, said at the time.
