Lepaparazzi News Update:

Lindsay Lohan's mother has fired back at tycoon Donald Trump after he advised the actress to "get a new set of parents" as part of her ongoing recovery. Dina Lohan admits she was upset by the glib comments Trump made to the New York Post the day after her daughter was arrested for drunk-driving and cocaine possession.

She has responded by releasing a statement explaining she was "disappointed" by Trump's words.

Dina writes, "I've always had a great admiration for your business sense and I've read all your books and learned from them. Your own brother died of alcoholism and you own Trump Vodka? You say Lindsay needs new parents? Such a rash statement without backing it with fact? I am a single mother of four children doing what I can during this difficult time! Do a background check of both parents and you will find the truth! Shame on you... so many families suffer from this, yours included. We need solutions not opinions!"

Lepaparazzi News Update: Jessica Alba's Relationship with Cash Warren

Jessica Alba split with Cash Warren because he was terrified of commitment, according to the pair's pals. The actress reportedly ended her two-year relationship with the production assistant last week, after months denying the romance was on the rocks.

Now friends reveal the break-up was relatively amicable, but prompted by differences in the couple's long-term aspirations.

One tells the New York Daily News, "He (Cash) wasn't ready for marriage, and Jessica is. It's simple as that. It's kind of cold that the press is saying she was just finished with him, because it isn't like that."

And pals cite close friend Eva Longoria's recent French nuptials as the event that finally pushed her: "Seeing Eva get married made Jessica wistful. That was the reason Jessica seemed to be in a terrible mood in Paris."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Arizona Man Arrested In Alleged Shakedown Plot Against Tom Cruise

LOS ANGELES (AP) - An Arizona man who allegedly demanded more than $1 million not to publish Tom Cruise's stolen wedding photographs has been arrested, the actor's lawyer said Thursday.

David Hans Schmidt, known for brokering deals involving compromising celebrity photos and videos, approached Cruise's representatives about six weeks ago with photos from the actor's Italian wedding last year to Katie Holmes, attorney Bertram Fields said. The FBI was contacted.

''He was looking for money, lots of money,'' Fields said.

Schmidt, 47, was arrested by federal agents Tuesday, said FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller, but she said the criminal complaint charging him was under seal in federal court and she refused to comment.

Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office in Los Angeles, said a judge set bond at $100,000. Schmidt was being held Thursday at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles, according to jail records.

It was not immediately clear if Schmidt had a lawyer or how he obtained the photos.

Schmidt has also been trying to auction off Paris Hilton's diaries, along with photos of her in various stages of undress and other personal items that had been locked away in a Los Angeles-area storage locker until a few months ago.

Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, has said the belongings were ''illegally seized'' from the storage facility.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Jolie & Pitt Bowl Over Arcade Boss With Afternoon Visit

Angelina Jolie and Brad PittAngelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took over a French bowling alley on Monday so their kids could hit pins with pal Marianne Pearl's son. Jolie plays Pearl in new movie A Mighty Heart, which Pitt produced, and the two families have become close since working together on the film, which follows the kidnap and murder of Pearl's journalist husband Daniel.

And when Marianne took up an invitation to join Pitt, Jolie and their four kids on a brief vacation in her native France, the Hollywood couple used their star power to close the Le Palace Vert arcade for a quiet bowl.

Owner Patrick Bernard tells People magazine he was particularly impressed with Pitt's parenting skills: "At one point... because the children don't have the strength to always get the ball down the lane, it sometimes stops. Brad thought he'd go down the lane to push it along. He slipped and fell on his back."

Pitt then showed off his air hockey skills. Bernard adds, "He was particularly good at it."

The owner still can't believe Pitt and Jolie chose to host their bowling party at his place: "We're certainly the smallest bowling in France, so we're still having trouble realizing we spent Monday afternoon with the most famous couple in the world."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Lindsay Lohan hit with drug and alcohol

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -

The troubled saga of Lindsay Lohan took another dangerous turn early Tuesday when police booked her on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession after a frightened woman dialed 911 to report being chased by Lohan's SUV.

Less than two weeks out of rehab, with another drunken-driving case pending, Lohan had a blood-alcohol level of between 0.12 and 0.13 percent when police found her about 1:30 a.m., Sgt. Shane Talbot said.

Lohan attorney Blair Berk said her client had relapsed and was again receiving medical care.

"Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease," Berk said in a statement Tuesday.

Authorities had received a 911 call from the mother of Lohan's former personal assistant, said Officer Alex Padilla. The assistant had just quit hours before, he said.

"The mother was afraid," Padilla said. "She wasn't quite sure what was going on so she called the police saying she wanted to make sure everything was going to be OK."

The woman apparently didn't realize it was Lohan who was behind her, Padilla said.

Police said the woman drove her black Cadillac Escalade into the parking lot of Santa Monica's Civic Auditorium, about a block away from the Santa Monica Police Department, followed by Lohan driving a Denali sport utility vehicle. Authorities arrived and saw Lohan and the woman in "heated debate," Padilla said. Lohan and the woman each had two passengers in their vehicles, Padilla said.

After a sobriety test, the 21-year-old movie star was booked on suspicion of two misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transport of a narcotic, authorities said.

During a pre-booking search, police found cocaine in one of Lohan's pants pockets, Talbot said.

Several hours later, Lohan was released on $25,000 bail.

Padilla said he didn't know why Lohan was trying to catch the woman, whom he didn't name.

Last week, Lohan turned herself in to Beverly Hills police to face charges of driving under the influence in connection with a Memorial Day weekend hit-and-run crash.

Lohan lost control of her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible and crashed into a curb and shrubs on Sunset Boulevard, police said. Lohan's blood-alcohol level at the time of that crash was above the legal limit, authorities said, but they wouldn't disclose how high it was. She also faces a misdemeanor charge of hit and run in that case.

A court date was scheduled in that case for Aug. 24.

Lohan left Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility on July 13, after a stay of more than six weeks.

When she left, publicist Leslie Sloan Zelnik said Lohan would voluntarily wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet.

"In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served," Zelnik said in a statement at the time.

Padilla said he wasn't sure if Lohan was wearing it when she was stopped early Tuesday.

Since her release, Berk said, Lohan had been tested daily in order to support her sobriety.

"Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies," Berk said. "Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."

In January, Lohan also had checked into rehab for substance abuse treatment.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Jaime Pressly Blasts Sexist Hollywood

My Name Is Earl actress Jaime Pressly is disgusted by the sexist nature of Hollywood, insisting women have less options than their male counterparts. The blonde star says it's much easier for men to make their way through show business than actresses.

She says, "I've done my share of films I'd like to forget. Still, I don't know anybody who hasn't, especially actresses. Ed Norton came into this business and has only done amazing films because he has that option - he's a man and those roles are available.

"For women, a lot of the parts just aren't that great and if you're trying to make a living you take roles you wouldn't necessarily take if you had money."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Sienna Miller Glad She Begged Her Parents To Put Her In A Boarding School

Sienna Miller begged her parents to send her to boarding school when she was only eight years old. The Factory Girl star attended a private school in Berkshire, England at the tender age of eight - but insists it was on of the best decisions she has ever made.

She says, "I was really young to make the decision, but my parents are amazing people and let me go there. Obviously, at eight, you can't really make a life decision, so as soon as I got there, I was terribly homesick, and it was tough.

"But I stuck it out, and after a month of being miserable, I started to love it. I had the best time there."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Sarah Silverman Feels Bad About Paris Hilton Joke

Sarah Silverman regrets poking fun at Paris Hilton on the eve of her June jail stint after watching footage of the MTV Movie Awards. Silverman, who hosted the awards show, joked about Hilton's prison term, while the hotel heiress sat awkwardly in the audience.

Cameras captured a hurt Hilton as she squirmed in her seat - just hours before she began her prison sentence for a probation violation at Century Regional Detention Center - and Silverman admits she has felt terrible ever since.

She says, "I thought, 'She's got to know there's going to be a joke about her,' so I went for it. But then I looked down and saw a man in her face with a camera. I was there to be funny and I was, but that doesn't mean I can't feel bad about it."

A forgiving Hilton admits she knows Silverman was just trying to land a few laughs: "She's a funny comedienne and hopefully she won't be as mean the next time she sees me."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Catherine Zeta-Jones Didn't Marry For Money

Catherine Zeta-Jones is amazed some people still presume the only reason she wed Michael Douglas was for financial reasons, despite the fact the couple has two children together and have been man and wife for nearly seven years.

The Mask Of Zorro star insists she never set out to snare a wealthy husband - and her marriage is all about love, not money.

She says, "There's some preconceived notion that I married Michael for his money, or I swan around in kimonos, making big demands. It's completely not the case. I've been working since I was 11 - actually, since I was 10 - in one business that's taken me through all my life. I just happened to meet my husband."

Website Popcrunch claimed the engagement was kept a secret because of the failure of sister Jessica's marriage to Nick Lachey, which ended in divorce in 2006. However a spokesperson for Simpson tells UsMagazine.com Wentz and Simpson's engagement rumors are "absolutely not true".

Lepaparazzi News Update: Beckhams' New Home Is A Roller Skating Paradise

Victoria Beckham Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham is convinced she's found the right Los Angeles home for her family - because the corridors are big and long enough for her three sons to skate through. The pop star-turned-fashion icon's search for the perfect home is featured in her upcoming reality show Victoria Beckham: Coming To America, and she admits the top item on her wish list had nothing to do with her own comforts.

She settled for a $22 million Beverly Hills pad because, "It's a light, happy house, with a great corridor the kids are going to love when they are roller skating."

Meanwhile, husband David, who begins a new soccer career with local team the Los Angeles Galaxy later this month, insists Tinseltown's home helps needn't bother applying for jobs with the Beckhams as the family aren't planning to employ an army of gardeners, nannies and maids.

He tells America's W magazine, "We like to lock the doors at night and wander around naked."

The couple graces the cover of the upcoming issue of the style magazine - David is topless and seated on the bonnet of a black sports car, while his wife, wearing sexy lingerie and revealing her back, pouts for the camera while leaning against the soccer star.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Debbie Harry - "Necessary Evil" out September 25th

That voice is unmistakable, so just be glad that Debbie Harry isn’t going anywhere. The lead singer for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Blondie is back with her Eleven Seven Music/ADA debut, Necessary Evil, her sixth solo album, and first since 1993’s Debravation.

Necessary Evil reflects Debbie’s total creative immersion in the project. She was involved in overseeing everything from producing her music video to creatively directing her photo shoot with Joe Gaffney to picking out her own mastering company (a job the record label usually takes on). Rob Roth, friend and designer, created the artwork for the album from photographs that Debbie took of herself. Rob then made the cover come alive in the music video, which they filmed in a garden on the lower east side of Manhattan.

The ultimate pop-rock, new wave diva, Debbie Harry set the mold, incorporating everything she learned from culture pioneers like Andy Warhol, Giorgio Moroder and Fab Five Freddy into her fashion, look and, particularly, sound. With Blondie, she and Chris Stein brought the worlds of disco and rock together with “Heart of Glass” and “Call Me” and broke ground by combining hip-hop and pop on “Rapture.” As a solo artist, Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards co-produced her first release Koo Koo in 1981. She continues to defy expectations with such genre-busting efforts as “French Kissing in the U.S.A.,” “Rush Rush,” “Rain” and “The Jam Was Moving.” Before there was Madonna and Gwen Stefani, Debbie Harry was rock’s reigning blonde pin-up icon, and both are quick to acknowledge her inspiration, as are countless female (and male) rockers who have since formed bands.

On the new album, she collaborates with the following, all of whom she picked personally to participate: New York production team Super Buddha (Barb Morrison and Charles Nieland), Jazz Passengers’ Roy Nathanson and Bill Ware (“Paradise”), the Toilet Boys’ Guy Furrow (“Charm Alarm”) and Chris Stein (“Jen Jen,” “Naked Eye”).

There is a marvelous combo ranging from cool dance-floor rhythms, to the pop-rock style of the first single “Two Times Blue,” to the Spector girl group sound of “If I Had You,” to the rocking title track, the tribal experimentalism of “Jen Jen” and the torchy noir David Lynch-meets-Brecht/Weill of “Paradise.” In all, it does a marvelous job of combining all the sides of Debbie’s personality, from sex symbol to playful tease, from cheeky bravado to aching vulnerability, in short, not just a look back, but a step forward.

“I don’t know if I consciously did that,” she says of compiling her various personas on the album. “If it did happen, it was pretty unconscious. Basically, I would come up with an idea for a topic, a lyric or catch phrase, go in with a melody line, and we would develop it. I don’t look at it psychologically. All art is a building process. You just keep layering on your experiences. In that sense, it’s totally real.”

In fact, for the normally cool Harry, who usually hides behind her various guises, Necessary Evil is highly personal and very revealing. The shimmering “Deep End” finds Debbie urging you to take chances and not play it safe, set against a metaphor of swimming in the ocean. “When your back’s against the wall, you have to take a leap of faith,” she says of the song’s theme. “Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t… but it still empowers you.”

The sensual “Love with a Vengeance” and the questioning “What Is Love” both offer a glimpse inside Debbie’s heart, which is most definitely not made of glass. “The album is very much about love,” she says. “It’s a question that seems to involve everyone’s life deeply, certainly mine as well. There are many aspects to love. It’s so important to us, completely involving. It’s the most important thing you can exercise in this world… to look at life with love. And not be stupid or blinded by it, but to really understand its nature and live with it. In the ‘60s, love was a major part of our lives, but we’ve sort of lost that. Maybe bringing it up and talking about it will influence some of the things we really have to take care of, like the environment. This is something we have to do out of necessity, not just desperation or survival. Motivation must come from love.”

Debbie takes on such modern foibles as the fascination with the tabloids in the satiric “School for Scandal,” original sin in the rocking title track and even Lil’ Kim’s incarceration, which was the original inspiration for the dance-floor technopop of “Dirty N Deep.”

“Each song is not about one thing in particular,” she explains. “Each one has flavors of other experiences, an amalgamation of things. Some of the lyrics are autobiographical, and some are just observations or listening to other people’s stories, things I’ve read, just everything. That’s what art is. You’re like a sponge, this kind of receptor, a radio antenna receiving all these different waves that swarm around and come out in a song.”

On songs like “Jen Jen,” “Naked Eye,” and “Paradise,” which is a strange narrative told from the point-of-view of a female suicide bomber, explosives strapped to her body, insisting she’s doing what she’s doing for love, Debbie explores new musical and lyrical frontiers, stretching out to remind you of past avant-garde excursions with the likes of guitarist Robert Fripp and violinist Walter Steding. “They’re not as obvious,” she says of the songs. “A little bit off, not part of a direct pop approach.”

For Debbie Harry, making Necessary Evil was something she had to do. As in “Deep End,” she doesn’t just dip her toe in the water, but goes in head first.

“It’s exciting to be doing this on my own, but chilling and weird at the same time,” she admits. “In a way, I will be out there without a safety net. The comfort level with Blondie is great, but in most cases, the audience wants to hear the old music from us, rather than the future, and that is death for an artist. You have to keep moving forward.”

As for what’s next, Debbie Harry is ready.

“I had a really great time work with Super Buddha and all the musicians on the album,” she concludes. “I hope that people are entertained by my new release.”

Debbie Harry may be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but she continues to look to the future, by pushing herself to expand her art. This is one Necessary Evil that’s, well, necessary…not only for fans, as it turns out, but for Debbie herself.

Necessary Evil" is a collection of 17 new tracks including the first single "Two Times Blue". The album will be released on September 25th so sit tight!

Lepaparazzi News Update: Victoria Beckham As She Prepares For Move To U.S.: 'I'm Just A Normal Girl From London'

Victoria Beckham LOS ANGELES (AP) - Victoria Beckham insisted Monday that she's ''just a normal girl from London'' who happens to be ''living quite a surreal life'' with her soccer star husband David and their three young boys.

Americans can judge for themselves when the newest British import is seen in a one-hour NBC special, ''Victoria Beckham: Coming to America,'' airing July 16 at 8 p.m.

As if Posh and Becks aren't besieged enough by cameras, the special follows Victoria Beckham as she prepares to move from Europe to the United States for her husband's July 21 debut with the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.

''It's funny. People really get to see what I'm really like. I have quite a dry sense of humor, which I hope is going to translate to Americans,'' Beckham said by phone from her London home where boxes were piled up ahead of the family's move Wednesday.

''I'm incredibly blessed and I wanted to show that to everybody.''

Beckham called herself ''a working mum'' who is focused on developing her signature line of clothing, sunglasses and perfume.

''That's my passion and that's what I'm good at,'' she said.

Beckham said her family was ''so excited'' about relocating that her boys ''actually think they're moving to Disneyland.''

The family will make do in a reported $22 million, 13,000-square foot villa in Beverly Hills, where neighbors include Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Beckham described her family life as almost quaint, hanging out at home and watching DVDs.

David Beckham appears briefly in the special, but viewers won't see the couple's three sons - Brooklyn, 9; Romeo, 4; and Cruz, 2 - or their BFFs, Cruise and Holmes.

''We don't ever allow the children to be photographed or filmed. We like them to be normal kids,'' she said. ''I didn't want any of my friends in there, either.''

Why not?

''This isn't a reality show, it's a documentary about me,'' Beckham said. ''Anything we do professionally, we try to keep the children out of it. We don't sort of traipse them up and down the red carpet.''

Initially, NBC had announced a six-episode series in February that would air during the summer. However, Beckham's shooting time was limited by her spending time in Europe as her husband wound down his playing career there.

So NBC decided it had enough footage to air a one-hour special. Among the executive producers is ''American Idol'' creator Simon Fuller, who managed the Spice Girls pop group that launched Victoria Beckham to fame.

Beckham did a similar documentary, ''Being Victoria Beckham,'' that aired in Britain in 2002.

If ratings for the special are good, it's possible she could be offered more television work.

''I wouldn't say I'm going to be the next TV star,'' she said. ''We'll see what people make of this.''

Other than the recently announced Spice Girls reunion tour, Beckham denied she's planning to resurrect her showbiz career in Los Angeles.

''I'm certainly not using this as a springboard to launch any sort of solo career, you'll be glad to hear,'' she said.

Citing the 1997 movie ''Spice World,'' which followed members of the pop group, Beckham gave her acting a bad review.

''I really wasn't that good,'' she said. ''I must be the only person in L.A. that doesn't want to be in films.''

But she still wants to sing.

The Spice Girls tour is set to open Dec. 7 in Los Angeles, reuniting the five-member girl group that sold millions of records in the 1990s before breaking up in 2001. A greatest hits album with a couple new songs will be out in December. The women now have seven children between them.

''I want my kids to see Mommy on the stage doing what I used to do and I want David to see it again,'' Beckham said. ''David is going to come on tour because it starts when his football ends.''

If you think you know Posh from reading the tabloids, she says forget it.

''People can have preconceptions because of the photographs that they see of me, because of some of the stories that they read about me as well,'' she said. ''A lot of the time it couldn't be further from the truth. We're so used to having things written about us that aren't true.''

Case in point: Beckham denied an item in Sunday's Los Angeles Times that said her husband gifted her with a $1.8 million diamond-encrusted sex toy when their third son was born.

''I can honestly say that is not true,'' she said, laughing. ''We do buy each other nice things, but it's never as extravagant as people make out.''

And she has a warning to paparazzi gearing up to stalk the couple.

''We're going to be quite low-key,'' she said. ''There are people that are much more famous in L.A. than David and myself. We're not out every night. We're probably a lot more boring than people think.''

Lepaparazzi News Update: Tony Parker and Eva Langoria's Wedding Day

Image: Source

(CBS/AP) The sun smiled on Tony Parker and Eva Longoria's wedding day, breaking through after days of gray Paris skies. Their VIP guests, though, were concealed by big black umbrellas.

Glamour and security went hand-in-hand as the NBA champion and star of "Desperate Housewives" exchanged vows Saturday in a church across from the Louvre Museum.

The Roman Catholic ceremony at the Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois Church — frequented by French royalty in centuries past — was stage two in a weekend wedding extravaganza.

First, the mayor of Paris pronounced Parker, 25, and Longoria, 32, husband and wife in a civil ceremony Friday. Then, a priest married them Saturday afternoon. Following that: an exclusive bash at a storied French chateau.

Longoria wore a silk wool and silk gazar scoop-back mermaid gown embroidered with silver metallic. The gown, which had a 5-foot-long train, was designed by Angel Sanchez, a spokeswoman for the designer said.

French menswear label De Fursac, which Parker models for, provided the groom's suit.

Stars of all stripes — actors, athletes, musicians — joined the couple for their nuptials.

Longoria's fellow "Housewives" garnered the most attention from several hundred mostly French fans outside the church, who booed bodyguards for blocking their view.

Teri Hatcher, in a silky blue gown, came with her 9-year-old daughter Emerson Rose. Felicity Huffman, in a beige dress with ruffled v-neck collar, brought husband William H. Macy. Nicolette Sheridan wore a strapless pink gown. Marcia Cross, who recently gave birth to twins, was not expected to attend.

Also attending were singer Sheryl Crow and the head coach for the San Antonio Spurs, Greg Popovich. Bodyguards used huge black umbrellas to shield guests from view. Police also erected 10-foot-high wooden panels in front of the church, and the bride and groom kept well out of sight.

Later, the couple headed to the 17th century Vaux-le-Vicomte chateau 35 miles southeast of Paris, with its marble-floored ballroom, chandelier-studded dining room and precisely pruned gardens.

For the civil ceremony, Parker, who was born in Belgium and grew up in France, asked Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe to officiate. Parker's friends translated when Delanoe gave a speech calling the basketball star a model in the fight against racism.

"It was touching, moving, very warm and at the same time very relaxed," Delanoe said on RTL radio Saturday. And romantic, he added: "They kiss all the time."

French law requires a civil ceremony even when couples marry in a church.

Saturday started gray but the skies cleared by the time the wedding guests arrived at the church. Fans stood through drizzle and shine.

"I love the series, and I came out today for the chance to see Eva, the 'American in Paris,"' said Lola Michot, a 16-year-old high school student from the eastern French city of Besancon.

The couple and their entourage gave very few details about the wedding.

Parker said the cake was made in France but nothing more. The superstitious Parker supposedly chose Saturday — 7/7/07 — as a lucky day.

Longoria plays crafty Gabrielle Solis in "Desperate Housewives." She met Parker, voted the most valuable player of the NBA Finals last month after the Spurs won their fourth title in nine seasons, after a game in November 2004. They announced their engagement last November.

Longoria divorced Tyler Christopher, an actor on the long-running ABC soap opera "General Hospital," in 2004, after two years of marriage. Parker's marriage to Longoria is his first.

Lepaparazzi News Update: The Access Entertainment Week In Review

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 1, 2007) -- It was big week for entertainment news, as an incarcerated heiress was set free, a pop princess made a mysterious delivery, and a TV star raised eyebrows in a foreign country.

After 23 days of being locked up, Paris Hilton walked out the front doors of the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California at 12:15 AM Tuesday morning. The smiling heiress walked past hoards of media who had gathered for hours awaiting her release from the facility. Waving at fans and shaking hands, the celebutante quickly made her way to her waiting parents, who drove her to her grandfather's home in Los Angeles' ritzy Holmby Hills area.

Upon Hilton's release, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said, "She fulfilled her debt. She was obviously in good spirits. She thanked people as she left."

As expected, a flurry of activity erupted outside the home of Paris' grandfather, as dozens of media crews and a host of reporters packed in tightly on the street to get a view of the Hilton home comings and goings.

Inside, Paris welcomed hair and makeup experts as she prepared herself for the following day's interview on "Larry King Live."

"I just want to let people know what I went through," she told King in Wednesday's interview. "I've been through a lot and it was a pretty traumatic experience, something I really... I've grown from."

Paris revealed much about her time behind bars in the interview with King, describing her emotional state while incarcerated, the conditions of her cell, and her feelings about being free again, among other things. And of course, the question on everyone's mind did time behind bars actually change her?

"Yeah, definitely. I have a new outlook on life," she claimed. "After being there awhile, I had to accept I could either make the best of it or make the worst of it, so I just went with the motto, 'Don't serve the time, let the time serve you.'"

In her talk with King, Paris stressed that she was a "businesswoman." To further understand Paris' assertion, Access investigated the history of Paris' business ventures in music, television, films, books, public appearances, and more - as well as revealing a brand new offer she has been given by a radio station in Minnesota!

Paris capped off her intense week by donning a dark wig and straw hat as she made her way to the sunny state of Hawaii.

While Paris was undoubtedly the focus of attention this week, other stars made news with stories of their own.

Britney Spears was reportedly planning on taking the stage this weekend in LA, as a special guest on Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" tour. A few days after that claim was reported, however, new reports surfaced that Britney had bowed out of the appearance due to having to sing rather than lip sync. Rumors were finally put to rest when a "True Colors" tour producer told PEOPLE that the show had reached out to Britney to perform at an earlier date in Las Vegas, but had never heard back from her, and that "they wouldn't be able to accommodate another artist in the LA schedule anyway."

But that's not the only Britney-centric paperwork story reported this week. A source close to Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, told PEOPLE that Federline has resisted signing the former couple's final divorce papers, allegedly out of concern over Spears' recent behavior.

"Britney's attorneys are anxious to see Kevin sign off on a divorce," the source reportedly said. "But Kevin and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, are dragging their heels out of concern over reports of Britney's post-rehab partying."

The source reportedly added that Federline's camp "wants to make sure that the divorce document makes it simple enough for Kevin to downsize Britney's access to her kids the next time her behavior troubles him."

Under the agreement the couple reached in March, once papers are signed, Britney and Kevin would have joint legal and physical custody of their two sons - Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 9 months.

A rep for Stamos released the following statement to Access Hollywood:

"John has been traveling extensively for the past few weeks in Greece, Egypt and Tokyo and had a difficult time adjusting to the time difference in Australia, which in turn led to many sleepless nights since his arrival. He acknowledges that his behavior was completely out of character during these interviews and apologizes."

Speculation surrounding Rosie O'Donnell's possible future as the new host of "The Price is Right" was finally put to rest this week -- by Rosie herself. O'Donnell posted a video blog on her Web site on Monday, saying that it was the show's Los Angeles location that was preventing her from taking the job. The game show's producers reportedly offered her the hosting position, but she didn't want to move her family from their home in New York.

"To get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them cross country so I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence job, it just doesn't seem fair," she said. "They all are in school, they have friends. We love their school, we love our community, we love our house, our life, our home."

In other TV news: CNN's Nancy Grace revealed that she's pregnant with twins (and married!), Joey Fatone got a job as host of a new NBC game show, and an actor on "Rescue Me" lashed out at Denis Leary over his character being killed off on the show.

The BET Awards show was chock full of memorable music moments this week, including a brief reunion for Destiny's Child and a duet between two "Dreamgirls" divas.

In other music news: Bon Jovi took their new album to the top of the Billboard chart, Paul McCartney rocked fans with a surprise gig in LA, Usher announced that he was expecting his first child, and '90's girl-group The Spice Girls announced that they would reunite for a world tour later this year!
