Lepaparazzi News Update: KidRock Kept Kids While Pam Partied

FRIENDS of Kid Rock (real name Bob Richie) say his marriage to Pam Anderson ended after four months because he was tired of staying home with the kids while she was out partying.

Yesterday, we told you how the final straw came when Richie exploded after watching his wife in the "Borat" movie - calling her a "whore" and a "slut."

But, "Bob rearranged his life for Pamela," a Rock pal tells us. "He moved from Detroit - something he said he would never do - and moved his son to L.A. to be with her."

But once Rock was in L.A., he found himself a single father to not only his son, Robert James Richie Jr., but to Anderson's two kids, Brandon and Dylan, as well.

"Pamela would go out almost every night and end up at [photographer] David LaChapelle's studio," Rock's friend says. "Bob was home alone with the three kids."

The "Baywatch" babe confirmed that scenario in this month's Blender, which quotes her as saying, "When I go to Hollywood, I start at the Chateau Marmont and then I usually end up naked in David LaChapelle's studio taking crazy pictures. That's usually a night for me. Four or five in the morning, lying across a car in David's studio."

Kid Rock was also said to suspect that Anderson was less than truthful about the miscarriage she claims she had. "Bob never saw any proof or heard from her at any time that she was pregnant. She announced she had a miscarriage. He flew to Canada [where she's shooting "Blonde and Blonder"] to be with her and she went out every night."

As for marital assets, Rock's pal says, "Pamela doesn't have the money in the relationship - he does. She also refused to sign a pre-nup that he asked her to."

A rep for Anderson said, "There was an agreement there would be a post-nup, which was being negotiated up until they split. Pam is a wonderful mother, always there for her kids, and has only been to David's twice since she married. And unfortunately, she absolutely had a miscarriage and only found out she was pregnant a few days before."

An Anderson friend adds, "Every time Pam was shooting her movie, her mother came to watch the kids because Bob was in Detroit recording an album. He never once single-parented her kids."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Gwen Stefani OutHots The Girls

Gwen and Gavin

You may think the American Music Awards was all about who won what.

Well, it wasn't. It's about who looked good on the red carpet.

Did Gwen Stefani - showing off a new style - look better than Paris Hilton?

And who would you pick for style icon between Beyonce and Nelly Furtado?

And never mind about who the most popular stars on the music stage are (it appears it's Black Eyed Peas, btw) rather concentrate on who thought it appropriate to wear trainers for their arrival.

Lepaparazzi News Update: How Tom Cruise managed to Appear Taller than Katie in Wedding Photos

When the groom is two inches shorter than the bride, it's difficult to see how a couple could carry off the cheek-to-cheek photograph.

But if the newlyweds are Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, anything is possible.

Maybe she was bending her knees or wearing flat pumps. Perhaps he was wearing lifts in his shoes. Because somehow, in their official wedding shots, the 5ft 7in actor became a touch taller than his 27-year-old wife.

However, it was not just the photographs that were other than they seemed.

Yesterday it emerged that the couple had already married in secret in America. Cruise's agent Arnold Robinson said they had 'officialised' the marriage in Los Angeles before travelling to Italy for the three-day Scientology wedding, said to have cost ¡ê5million.

For some, the announcement cast a shadow on the event at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, near Rome. It was criticised for being a stunt to raise awareness of the Scientology religion.

Local priest Father Nicola Fiorentini said: 'It wasn't a wedding at all. It was just for publicity. I can't believe such an event was allowed to take place at all.'

The Church of Scientology's influence was explicit throughout the event.

Cruise's best man was the church's leader David Miscavige. A Scientology adviser was thought to have been at each table at the wedding banquet.

Miss Holmes, who wore an off-the-shoulder Giorgio Armani ivory gown with a silk Valenciennes lace train and Swarovski embroidered crystals, walked down the aisle with her father Martin.

Cruise, wearing a navy, single-breasted Armani tuxedo, and Miss Holmes then exchanged bizarre Scientology vows and swopped rings designed by Italian silversmith David Orgel.

The 45-minute service ended with red and white rose petals ¨C the colours of Scientology ¨C falling from nets held in the hall ceiling. As the flowers fell, the couple enjoyed a rather excruciating three-minute kiss ¨C stopping only after embarrassed guests begged them to. Then a 15-minute, ¡ê100,000 firework display was set off in the grounds of the castle.

Guests, who included Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey, Will Smith, Brooke Shields and Victoria Beckham, were then led indoors for a three-course wedding breakfast and all-night dancing.

After a champagne toast, waiters served a parma ham, buffalo mozzarella and vine tomato platter, then an Italian beef dish. Guests left with ¡ê5,000 Armani goodie bags. The next morning the couple flew to the Maldives for their honeymoon.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Britney Spears Hanging Out in Las Vegas

Britney Spears's post-breakup tour has taken her to Las Vegas – and she finally hit the town this weekend, winning big at the blackjack table and partying with Dancing with the Stars' Mario Lopez, sources tell PEOPLE.

After stops in New York and her Louisiana hometown of Kentwood, Spears, accompanied by her former manager Larry Rudolph, arrived in Nevada this week and kept a low profile before finally hitting the town on Friday.

Donning a disguise of a pink wig and big, dark sunglasses, Britney was spotted in the Palms Casino Resort Friday night chatting it up with owner George Maloof – this, after she and George went on a shopping trip to Caesars Palace's Forum Shops.

Also on Friday, Spears went into the Palms' recording studio with producer Lukasz Gottwald to mix tracks on her new album.

"She looks and sounds great," a source tells PEOPLE. "Her voice never sounded better. She's having fun. She's ready to kick a--."

Britney also did pretty well at the tables, gambling at The Mint, the Palms' high-limit lounge. There, Britney – wearing a short, black dress – caught a lucky streak, raking in $10,000 in winnings from blackjack.

She also was introduced to Mario Lopez at The Mint. The two, along with a small group, then headed up to Moon Nightclub and partied the night away. [Source]

Lepaparazzi News Update: Scuffle at Angelina Jolie Film Shoot

Image Credit: Glenn Harris / Photorazzi

MUMBAI, India -
Angelina Jolie's bodyguards allegedly roughed up parents and students Thursday at a school where she was filming scenes for her new movie, "A Mighty Heart," witnesses said.

The fracas began when the gates of the Anjuman-e-Islam school, which had been locked during filming, were opened to let the parents fetch their children.

"This Jolie's bodyguard called one parent, `You bloody Indian,'" said Mohammed Yusuf Patni, general secretary of the school's Parent Teacher Association. "Children were pushed around."

Patni, who has two children studying at the Muslim school, said "mothers were also shoved aside by the guards."

Dallington TV, a British production company that organized the shoot, blamed the scuffle on photographers and television cameramen that it said rushed the school to get pictures of Jolie.

"We had the full permission and cooperation of the school to film on the premises," Dallington said in a statement. "When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparazzi rushed the school causing confusion."

Representatives for Jolie refused to comment.

The scuffle wasn't the first that security guards have had since Jolie arrived in India last month with
Brad Pitt and their three children.

In one incident, an Associated Press freelance photographer alleged that security guards protecting Jolie's movie set in Pune had hit him and threatened him with a gun.

Earlier, as Pitt and Jolie were leaving a hotel, one of their security guards manhandled a British photographer trying to take their photo, grabbing the man by his neck and verbally abusing him.

"A Mighty Heart" is based on a memoir written by Mariane Pearl, the widow of Daniel Pearl, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, who was abducted and murdered in Pakistan in 2002 while researching a story on Islamic militancy.

Jolie had said that playing Mariane Pearl is "certainly challenging for me, as I have to make the world understand this woman and her family."

"She still loves Pakistan, she carries no hatred. She is above all that, and her strength is a reminder that this is what the world needs," the DNA newspaper quoted Jolie as saying.

Directed by
Michael Winterbottom, "A Mighty Heart" is expected to be released next year.

When asked about rumours that the two hooked up during the shoot, Loken laughed and took a deep breath before replying, "There is the $64,000 question. Um...I don't even know how to answer that."

She was then asked if the two had fun partying together, Loken replied, "Uh-huh," while smiling slyly.

When the interviewer said her silence "said volumes" the actress replied, "Just don't look upstairs, OK?"

The couple have been frequently photographed together with their arms around each other in Los Angeles.

Pitt & Jolie Take The Family Sightseeing In India

Angelina Jolie on the set of A Mighty Heart

MUMBAI, India (November 13, 2006) -- Actress Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went
sightseeing over the weekend in Mumbai, where Jolie was to shoot scenes for a movie about slain journalist Daniel Pearl.

Newspapers published pictures of 5-year-old son Maddox perched on Pitt's shoulders and Jolie carrying 18-month-old daughter Zahara as they stepped out of their luxurious hotel in downtown Mumbai on Sunday.

They visited a popular Mumbai restaurant where Pearl, also a musician, often played violin or mandolin with a group of friends. Jolie and Pitt were also accompanied by 5-month-old Shiloh Nouvel.

The couple and their children arrived in Mumbai after shooting the movie for nearly a month in the western Indian city of Pune. Pune was chosen because of its resemblance to Pakistan's city of Karachi, where Pearl was abducted and killed in 2002 while researching a story on Islamic militancy.

The movie is based on an adaptation of Mariane Pearl's book, "A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl." Jolie plays Mariane Pearl and Dan Futterman portrays Daniel Pearl.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Kevin Federline Sex Tape With Britney Leaked?

Kevin Federline seemed to be caught flat-footed when he was hit that his wife Britney Spears wanted a divorce. In fact sources close to Kevin Federline told Life & Style Weekly that the soon to be ex-husband of pop queen Britney Spears had no idea she was filing for divorce.

So - once a sex tape began making the rounds on the web earlier this week that was purported to be of Kevin and Britney, many speculated that Kevin had leaked it for revenge.

BANG Media called it this way - The raunchy 19-second clip shows a woman with dark hair, who bears a striking resemblance to the 'Toxic' singer, performing oral sex on a man rumored to be her estranged husband Kevin Federline.

But it appears that the tape is a hoax.

The reason so many were willing to believe it - aside from it allegedly featuring Britney Spears naked and involved in a sex act - is that the stars had just had a lawsuit tossed out over - you guessed it - a sex tape.

Us Weekly was sued and gives this report:

A Los Angeles judge has dismissed Spears' $10 million lawsuit against Us Weekly, ruling that the singer cannot be defamed by published rumors that she and her husband, Federline, had made a sex tape and were worried about its release.

The lawsuit stemmed from an article published Oct. 17, 2005, in Us Weekly's "Hot Stuff" column under the headline, "Brit & Kev: Secret Sex Tape? New parents have a new worry: racy footage from 2004."

The article stated that Spears and Federline, feared the release of a secret sex tape, which they had viewed with their lawyers. The article said that Spears gave a copy of the tape to lawyers and she and Federline were "acting goofy the whole time" while watching the video.

***

In December 2005, Spears filed the lawsuit, which stated:

"There was no laughter, disgust or goofy behavior while watching the video in the company of lawyers because they did not watch any video, and because there is no such video.”

***

In a written decision issued last week, Superior Court Judge Lisa Hart Cole argued that Spears has:

"Put her modern sexuality squarely, and profitably, before the public eye" and it would be unlikely for the magazine article to be found defamatory. She added: "The backdrop against which this issue must be addressed is that the plaintiff has publicly portrayed herself in a sexual way in her performances, in published photographs and in a reality show."

Lepaparazzi News Update: Britney Spears Skates off Divorse Blues

Britney Spears appeared upbeat, if a little off balance, as she took to the ice skating rink at New York's Rockefeller Center just hours after filing for divorce in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old pop star cited "irreconcilable differences" in court papers filed Tuesday seeking dissolution of her marriage to aspiring rapper Kevin Federline.

As seen in a video posted late Tuesday by the entertainment Web site TMZ.com, Spears - bundled up in a striped sweater and fuzzy white hat - looked happy as she rounded the world-famous rink. Maybe that's because the curtain had finally fallen on her problem-plagued romantic life, a drama that played out publicly in magazines and on television over the past two years.

Spears wed Federline in the fall of 2004. They had a ceremony in September, but court papers state that the couple were officially married Oct. 6.

It was nonstop drama from there.

Magazines couldn't get enough of the pair, documenting their every tender gesture and teary-eyed fight. The couple contributed to the coverage with their self-filmed reality TV show, "Britney & Kevin: Chaotic." The tabloid depicted him as a party-goer living off his wife's fame and fortune. She was painted as a bumbling mother with fading figure and visage. Her chart-topping career all but imploded.

It was the first marriage for Federline, 28, though he was still dating his pregnant girlfriend Shar Jackson when he met the pop star. Jackson gave birth to Federline's second child just months before he married Spears.

It was the second marriage for Spears, whose 55-hour union with childhood friend Jason Alexander ended in annulment.

Spears and Federline have two children: Sean Preston, who turned 1 on Sept. 14, and an infant son, Jayden James, born Sept. 12.

Spears is seeking "legal and physical" custody of both.

She declared in court papers that she and Federline have no community assets, which indicates they had a prenuptial agreement and don't want to disclose their divorce settlement to the court, said Leon Bennett, a Los Angeles divorce attorney who does not represent either party.

The filing came a day after Spears, back in shape after the birth of her second child, made a surprise appearance on David Letterman's "Late Show" in New York by popping up behind him as he was sitting at his desk.

Born in Kentwood, La., in 1981, Spears got her first taste of fame at age 11 when she joined the "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" TV show. Her fellow Mouseketeers included future superstars Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

Five years after Spears left the show she released her debut album, "Baby One More Time." In the video for the title track, Spears, still a teenager, dressed provocatively in a skimpy school uniform and moaned "baby, baby, baby." Yet she proclaimed her chastity, insisting she remained a virgin throughout her four-year relationship with Timberlake.

By 2003, Spears had fully embraced her sex-charged image, sharing an open-mouthed kiss with Madonna during the MTV Video Music Awards. That same year, she revealed in an interview with W magazine that she had lost her virginity to Timberlake.

Federline appeared in the 2004 movie "You Got Served" and performed as a backup dancer for Timberlake, Pink and Michael Jackson. He released his debut CD, "Playing With Fire," on Oct. 31. In an interview with The Associated Press two weeks ago, he praised Spears as a positive force in his life.

"Her influence on me has been really big," he said. "She's a strong woman and she knows what she wants out of life and that helps build a strong man. I look up to you baby."

Calls placed to attorneys for Federline and Spears were not returned Tuesday.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Inside Shanna Moakler's Las Vegas Divorce Party

Shanna Moakler made the best of her split from Travis Barker on Friday with a divorce party at the Las Vegas nightclub Light at the Bellagio.

"I've been to past friends' divorce parties so I'm not the first person (to have one)," she tells PEOPLE. "I'm not groundbreaking or anything. I'm really doing it for myself to have closure and celebrate being single again and start a new chapter in my life."

The former Meet The Barkers star and Dancing with the Stars contestant hung out with a group of girlfriends all night, moving to various tables all around the club to get different perspectives.

Finally settling on a corner booth, Moakler joined an existing party's table to hang for the night. Wearing a short black dress, she was clearly having a good time as she drank vodka and did shots with her newfound friends.

The highlight of the evening came at dinner, when the Ballagio's Fix restaurant brought out a "divorce cake" for Moakler. The three-tiered cake featured a miniature knife-wielding blonde in a wedding dress on top, with a trail blood leading to a tiny groom sprawled at the bottom.

On hosting the oddly themed bash, Moakler tells PEOPLE, "I don't have any regrets about doing it. I am who I am and I make my own decisions. I totally respect people's opinions. I never thought I would be getting a divorce. I never thought I'd be here. At the end of the day, this isn't the worst thing in my life. People go through it every day. I respect people's opinions, but this is my opinion. This is how I'm showing the world that divorce is okay. I doesn't have to be the end of your life."

Barker, 30, the former drummer for blink-182, filed for divorce from Moakler, 31, in August.

LePaparazzi News Update: Pitt and Jolie receive death threats from Al-Qaeda

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have received threats on their lives from members of terrorist group al-Qaeda.

The couple are currently in India shooting the film A Mighty Heart, based on the life of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was killed at the hands of al-Qaeda militants in Pakistan in 2002.

According to The Financial Times, British security experts were flown into Pune, India, earlier this week, after being alerted by authorities in neighboring Pakistan that the couple might be a target because of the political nature of the film.

The terror fear is also said to be the reason behind the decision to shoot the movie in Pune, as opposed to Pakistan, where the events actually took place.

After consulting with various intelligence agencies, Indian officials have provided the couple with extensive security while they are in Pune, according to Intelligence Bureau sources in New Delhi.

LePaparazzi News Update: Ryan Cheated with Aussie

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

RYAN Phillippe
's cruel intentions to cheat on wife Reese Witherspoon brought an end to their glam Hollywood marriage, Us magazine reports. The "Flags of Our Fathers" star couldn't resist his seven-year itch when he brazenly played around in public with 24-year-old Aussie actress Abbie Cornish. "Ryan admitted it was true and said, 'We need to just end this.' Reese literally had no choice," an anonymous source told Us. Reps for Phillippe, 32, and Oscar winner Witherspoon, 30, announced Monday they're splitting up after seven years of matrimony. Their reps could not be reached for comment last night. Phillippe and Cornish allegedly grew close in Austin, Texas, on and off the set of their indie flick, "Stop Loss." Other sources have pointed to a different castmate. "We're a little bit devastated and heartbroken," mom Susan Phillippe said. The National Enquirer says the final straw came two weeks ago, hours after the New York premiere of "Flags," when Witherspoon found incriminating e-mails on her hubby's BlackBerry.
