Tom Cruise's lawyer Bert Fields has lashed out at Life & Style
magazine's latest story on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes which
claims Cruise "exploded in fury, blaming Katie for leaking their
decision to split."
The magazine quotes a friend as saying, "He was screaming,
'Who have you been talking to? Who?' He freaked out....
" In an exclusive interview, Los Angeles-based Fields tells Star,
"It's absolutely false, disgusting and despicable — they should
be ashamed of themselves."

If the $28 million price tag for BRAD PITT and
JENNIFER ANISTON's Beverly Hills mansion was too high
for you, then the new cost might make it more obtainable.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the couple's mansion is now
only $24.95 million to purchase. The residence has been on the market
since October, the same month the twosome's divorce became final.
According to the newspaper, Brad and Jen will split the proceeds after it is sold.
The couple, who were married for 4½ years, originally bought the
home for $13.5 million in 2001.
The 12,000-square-foot house has five bedrooms, including a master
suite with his and hers sitting rooms.
It also has a rotunda foyer, a screening room and a wine cellar.
The grounds feature an outdoor fireplace, a pool, a spa and a private
tennis court.

cancer surgery.
News of Crow's cancer battle was broken Friday on her Website
and confirmed by her publicist, Dave Tomberlin, who said the
43-year-old singer-songwriter underwent successful "minimally
invasive" surgery on Wednesday.
