It's a Boy for Jack Black, Wife

LePaparazzi News Updates

Jack Black and Tanya Haden

Jack Black and musician wife Tanya Haden, who eloped in March, are the new parents of a baby boy, born Saturday in Los Angeles. Black announced the arrival during Monday's Hollywood premiere of his new comedy Nacho Libre, telling TV's Access Hollywood, "Secretly, between you and me, it's already happened. I've got the babe back at home safe and sound, and I'm actually very anxious to get back to my lovin's (loved ones)." Indeed, Black left the premiere shortly after the lights went down and the screening began.

Black announced his wife's pregnancy last month while promoting Nacho Libre, in which he plays a wrestler who raises money for an orphanage.

"I think I will be good when it comes to playtime," he told reporters, according to USA Today. "I don't know how good I'll do with the discipline."

Black, 36, and Haden, 34, first met as students at Crossroads, a private high school in Santa Monica, Calif., and started dating in April 2005.

They exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Big Sur, Calif.

"They love each other very much. We're thrilled," the bride's father, jazz bassist Charlie Haden, told PEOPLE after the wedding.

In September, Black is set to begin filming Be Kind, Rewind, costarring Kirsten Dunst. "Wherever the job goes, the baby is just going to come with me," he said last month. "It will work out." Besides, he joked, "I don't really get involved until he's, like, 10."

Denise: I Wasn't Looking For Love

Richards in Las Vegas June 9.

Denise Richards has spoken out for the first time about her relationship with Richie Sambora – and the reports that she betrayed her "best friend," Sambora's estranged wife, Heather Locklear.

"The thing with Heather, that's been hard," she tells Entertainment Tonight in an interview airing Monday night. "You can't help who you fall for and that friendship, unfortunately, was done and wasn't salvageable."

Richards, 35, was in Las Vegas Friday night to emcee a performance by the Pussycat Dolls when she spoke with ET. In the interview, she insists that her relationship with Sambora, 46, which began shortly after Locklear filed for divorce from the Bon Jovi guitarist, was "the last thing I was looking for," adding, "it's true when they say things happen when you least expect it."

In terms of her relationship with Locklear, Richards says they were never "best friends" as has been reported. "People have gone on – 'Would you date your best friend('s husband)?' " she says. "You know, she wasn't my best friend. She was a close friend in the last couple of years.

I hadn't known her my whole life (like) people (are) portraying this." Still, Richards admits, "(It's) been tough having people think that I'm such a crappy friend." She also insists that Sambora and Locklear's marriage was over – as was her own union with Charlie Sheen – before she and Sambora got together.

"We didn't meddle in marriages and anything like that." As for her divorce from Sheen, Richards says of her allegations in court documents that he threatened to kill her, "Unfortunately the thing with Charlie and I – that was a court document that became public.

I didn't hand it to a tabloid and say, 'Here, print this.' And it's sad, and it's horrible that it's gotten to the point that it's gotten to." Sheen's camp, meanwhile, has noted that the document was filed by her own lawyer and not under seal as other papers had been.

A judge recently extended a restraining order requiring Sheen to stay at least 300 yards away from Richards and their daughters Sam, 2, and Lola, 1.

The recent events have changed Richards profoundly, she tells ET: "I was always a people pleaser and I just finally got to the point in my life after having my daughters and going through a really ugly divorce ... I've just gotten to the point where life is so short and I just want to be happy."

Brown No Longer Consumed by Hate for O.J.

Denise Brown, sister of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, holds a news conference at Temple University in Philadelphia Thursday, Sept. 21, 1995.

The sister of Nicole Brown Simpson said she is no longer consumed by hate for O.J. Simpson. Denise Brown told "Inside Edition" that she has moved on and the feelings she once had for her former brother-in-law have melted away.

"I was really angry (at him) for a long time and I did anything I could to irritate him and, in a sick sort of way, it gave me pleasure," Brown said. "It's as if a whole load of yuck was just built up on my shoulders and now it's gone."

Simpson was acquitted of the June 12, 1994, slayings of his former wife and her friend Ron Goldman outside her Brentwood home. No one else has been arrested.

The victims' survivors later sued Simpson in civil court, where a jury, using a lesser standard of proof than required at a criminal trial, found him liable for the killings and ordered him to pay $33.5 million.

The judgment remains unpaid by Simpson, who now lives in Florida.

Brown, who runs a foundation for battered women, has long despised Simpson. In 2004, she called him evil and said, "I think he's the devil walking around on Earth."

Brown said in the "Inside Edition" interview, which aired Monday, that she still has a relationship with her niece and nephew, Justin and Sydney, but they never discuss their mother's murder when they're together.

"It's not a conversation that should be talked about. I (like to) talk about the good things, the happy times, the things her mother and I did together when we were younger. I just want good memories," Brown said.

Heather Mills McCartney to Sue Newspapers

Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Heather Mills McCartney pose at a benefiz gala of the anti landmine organization "Adopt-a-Minefield" in Neuss, western Germany on May 28, 2005. She confirmed Tuesday, June 13, 2006, that she and the former Beatle will divorce, according to a statement released by her lawyers.

Heather Mills McCartney, the estranged wife of Paul McCartney, said Tuesday that after her divorce is final, she plans to sue newspapers that have been digging into her past.

"She will defer issue of legal proceedings until the arrangements in relation to the divorce are concluded but intends to sue at that stage all parties (including individuals) who are intent on damaging her reputation," said a statement from the law firm of Coyle White Devine.

Since the couple announced May 17 that they were separating after four years of marriage, Mills McCartney, 38, has been the subject of several unflattering newspaper articles that included pictures of her in naked or semi-naked poses.

The News of the World, a mass-circulation Sunday newspaper, has claimed that she was lavishly paid for spending nights with wealthy men when she was in her 20s.

"Heather is very distressed by this article," said the statement from Coyle White Devine.

Mills McCartney confirmed that she and McCartney will divorce, according to the statement by her lawyers. The couple had not mentioned "divorce" when they announced they were separating.

The former Beatle, who will be 64 on Sunday, has come to his wife's defense.

"Seeing that so many inaccurate stories have been written at the moment about Heather and myself, all I can ask people to do is not believe them and understand that most of what is coming out is made up and entirely false. Thanks for your support," he said in a statement released May 18.
