Britney Spears Gives Kevin Federline Sole Custody

After a long battle, Britney Spears settled her nasty custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Spears agreed last night, in a final settlement, to give K-Fed sole custody of their two boys—Sean Preston, 2 ½ and, and Jayden James, 1 ½—his attorney, Mark Kaplan, told OK! magazine.

“At about 8 p.m., a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed,” Kaplan said.

“All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner.”

Kaplan added, “Kevin is ecstatic and the boys are thriving.”

For her part, Spears remains under the legal conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears. She lost custody of her sons last October.

The pop star currently has monitored visitation with her boys two days a week and one overnight stay.

The settlement must be approved, but the former couple is due in court Friday.

"Wow… About time! I am so glad to hear that is finally over. It’s time for both of them to move on with their lives. I am frankly kind of tired of hearing about it. I just hope that Britney cleans up her act and really works on being a great mom for her boys. So that they can grow up to be happy and productive young men one day. We all make mistakes in our life that’s what personal growth is all about. Without trials and tribulations how can we gain knowledge and wisdom? They are young and they have a long road ahead of them. Next chapter please!"
