Though based in France and Germany right now, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt often fly back to the US with their six children – including 3-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne – but it is exhausting.
'After the flight from Europe [to attend the premiere of The Changeling], we were all suffering a bit from jetlag,' says Angelina. 'Although we went to bed early, [the kids] were up at 4:30 am goofing around.
The 33-year-old relies on Brad to take care of things.
'He just said, "Go back to sleep, you have to work tomorrow," and then went to the living room with the kids,' she explains. 'He's an amazing father: totally devoted.
'It's twice as hard with two babies than with one. But it's twice as much fun, too.'
Angelina loves to watch her twins interact.
'When you look at them, it's like they were made for each other. They smile at each other, sniff each other, touch each other. It's just beautiful.'
And Knox and Vivienne have very different personalities.
'They're totally sweet,' their proud mum tells Vanity Fair in Germany. 'Knox is more the quiet one, very relaxed, while Viv is a little more aggressive and loud. It's funny. Knox looks more like Brad and Viv more like me.'
