The “Friend” that is beloved by fashion designers and regular women everywhere is reuniting with former Friends cast member Courteney Cox for the season premiere of the ensemble comedy “Cougar Town” Wednesday night. The latest celebrity news is that Aniston plays the therapist of main character Jules (played by Cox), who, as the second season of the show opens, is dealing with her only son “moving away” to college - 20 minutes away, to be precise.
There is no word yet on whether Aniston's character will recur during the season. Last year, the first season wrapped with 6.16 million viewers, and having Aniston on the show is a direct attempt to get more viewers.
