Pamela Anderson takes the hit for Clubbed Seals...

Pamela Anderson has taken a stand against Canada's East Coast Seal Hunt. The buxom blonde attempted to meet with Canada's Prime Minister to discuss the topic, yet her request was denied. (PM must be totally gay) She then wrote a letter to the Prime Minister 'warning that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals would escalate its efforts if Canada does not stop the annual seal harvest.'

Pamela was quoted, "When people think of Canadian Club, they should think of a good whiskey, not jerks beating pups on the ice," Anderson said at a news conference Saturday. The irony of the situation is that Anderson herself showed up at a Juno News Conference looking a little 'clubbed' herslef....odd!

It's Jessica Alba in her most casual look ever. No matter how crazy her clothes look. Jessica seems to even pull this none matching outfit, and make it all her own. Ok, everyone a fashion 911! Color is good as long as it doesn't blind someone else in the process! Also, too many layer's of clothing going on I thought she lived in California not the North Pole. Thank God she still has her looks to fall back on.

Nick & Jessica: Get Back Together! ???

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson

Nick Lachey was in Houston promoting his hit single, "What's Left of Me," when he got the call: His brother Drew's wife, Lea, was in labor in Los Angeles.

Although Nick was scheduled to fly to Miami as part of his 11-city radio tour, he canceled the appearance and hopped a flight to L.A. to be with his younger sibling.

On March 23, Drew and Lea, both 29, welcomed daughter Isabella to the family. For Nick, the event was bittersweet. Seeing his brother's baby made him realize how far he is from his own dream of having a family.

Since wife Jessica, 25, filed for divorce last December, the 32-year-old heartthrob has dated a string of beauties, including ex-beauty queen Lizzie Arnold, 26, and Laguna Beach hottie Kristin Cavallari, 19, but the relationships all fizzled fast.

The reason, says an insider, is because they don't hold a candle to Nick's first love — Jessica!

"The truth is, moving on from Jessica hasn't been so easy," says the source. "Nick is at the point in his life where he'd prefer to settle down, and Jessica is the only person he's ever considered having kids with. Every woman he meets, Nick winds up stacking up against Jessica."STILL STUCK ON ONE ANOTHER Nick isn't the only one who is finding it hard to move forward.

"Jess sees photos of Nick out with other women, and it's breaking her heart," says a source. Now Jessica is telling friends that she's having second thoughts about the end of their three-year marriage.

"Jessica is realizing that she and Nick never really had a fair shot," says a source. "The first two years of their marriage, they were never alone. They were shooting Newlyweds — how can you develop a deep, loving relationship in front of a camera?"

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson have both been lonely lately, and their new romances haven't been working out.

Kevin Get's A Job!

Kevin Federline

After two years of living off his wife's millions, Mr. Britney Spears finally earned some of his own cash — for a change. On March 25, Kevin Federline was hired to appear for three hours at Atlanta's Vision Nightclub.

The would-be rapper earned an estimated $20,000 fee for sitting in the club's "VIP circle" area (where guests could buy 10-person tables for $1,500 apiece), giving shout-outs to the crowd, and lip-synching when the DJ played his new song, "PopoZao." "It's unbelievable how high he ranked as a club draw," media promoter Chris Kappy, who arranged the gig, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Only Paris Hilton ranked higher in the survey we did.

He's just such an oddity."And not an ideal hire, either. Though he was booked to appear at 11 p.m., Federline and Spears, who were staying together at Atlanta's Ritz-Carlton hotel, didn't arrive until 12:30 a.m. — and slipped out at 2:05 a.m., almost an hour earlier than scheduled.

And while he was whooping it up, Britney "looked miserable," the source says. "At one point, Kevin was singing to her, and Britney just laughed at him!"

THE GOOD TIMES That's a sharp contrast to the previous week, when Federline and Spears, pregnant with their second child, were in a frisky mood — looking like a couple whose rocky marriage might actually be back on track. On March 21, Kevin's 28th birthday, Britney threw him a party at Las Vegas' Tao restaurant where, a source tells Star, "she sat on Kevin's lap and fed him appetizers."The couple and their friends feasted on Kobe beef, crispy tuna, Chilean sea bass and sweet shrimp — before heading to Pure nightclub.

There, Kevin and Britney, 24, about three months pregnant and clad in a low-cut black cocktail dress, "held hands, kissed, and danced on a VIP bed," a source says. The next day, they gambled at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino before returning to Tao, where he drank Veuve Clicquot and she had a Cosmopolitan.

They also engaged in some public tongue action on the dance floor. Says an eyewitness: "It looked like they were eating each other's faces!"A FAMILY AFFAIRTheir week wasn't all partying, though. On March 23, they shopped at Kids Karnivale in Las Vegas. Britney bought clothing for Kevin's 3-year-old daughter, Kori (who, she mentioned, is "taking dance classes," an onlooker reports).

For 6-month-old Sean Preston, she purchased miniature police, Navy and fireman uniforms, and "a little white Elvis costume for $100," the onlooker says. That was just two days before they appeared at Vision Nightclub in Atlanta, looking estranged.

"For most of the night, they didn't talk much," says a source. But according to a friend of K-Fed, this yo-yo routine is one constant in their marriage. "It's hard to keep up with their marriage because it changes day to day," the insider tells Star. "One day they're all kissy-kissy and smiles — the next they're at each other's throats."

Jennifer Aniston Mum on Wedding Rumor

Jennifer Aniston

Things grew tense on Tuesday morning's Today show when Jennifer Aniston was asked about a rumor that Oprah Winfrey was planning to throw an $8 million wedding for her and boyfriend Vince Vaughn.

"I thought you weren't going to go there," Catherine Keener, Aniston's costar in the new movie Friends with Money, said to Today entertainment reporter Jill Rappaport as Aniston and costar Joan Cusack looked on silently. When Rappaport asked the question, Aniston had just finished saying she didn't mind giving interviews, so long as the topic was the movie, not her love life.

Rappaport acknowledged Keener's instinct to protect Aniston, but said she was still curious about the rumors because she herself had never been to an $8 million wedding. "And now you won't be," said Keener, as Aniston remained tight-lipped. "Friends with Money" opens in limited engagements Friday.

Paris to Be Offered Mother Teresa Role

Paris Hilton

House of Wax notwithstanding, The Simple Life star Paris Hilton has yet to make a major impression on the big screen. That may soon change.

Film director T. Rajeevnath, who is based in Thiruvananthapuram, India, wants Hilton to play Mother Teresa is a movie biography he is planning about the Nobel laureate who worked among Calcutta's poor with the Missionaries of Charity. "Her features resemble Mother Teresa,"

Rajeevnath – whose films include his native country's hits "Moksham," "Janani" and "Thannal" – says of Hilton, according to the French Press Agency.

The filmmaker adds, "A meeting with Paris Hilton is scheduled for the end of April." Rajeevnath says he stumbled upon this casting idea when he saw a computer-generated image showing what he considers a close facial resemblance between the 25-year-old hotel heiress and the Albanian-born nun, who died in 1997. Pope John Paul beatified Mother Teresa in 2003.

Indian press reports say shooting in West Bengal and several foreign countries is scheduled to begin in early 2007, and casting is expected to be rounded out by Kamal Haasan in the role of a priest and Mithun Chakraborty as Communist leader Jyoti Basu.

Tom Cruise's Revealing New Interview

Tom Cruise

As superstar TOM CRUISE awaits the arrival of both his first child with bride-to-be KATIE HOLMES as well as his highly anticipated blockbuster flick 'Mission: Impossible III,' he gets candid about his dyslexia, his volatile relationship with his father and his own childhood.
"I had no really close friend," he reveals in the April 9th edition of Parade magazine. "I was always the new kid with the wrong shoes, the wrong accent. I didn't have the friend to share things with and confide in."

Tom reveals that his father was also someone he was unable to turn to. "He was a bully and a coward," he says frankly. "He was the person where, if something goes wrong, they kick you."
The headline-making celebrity says the poor treatment actually taught him a lot. "It was a great lesson in my life -- how he'd lull you in, make you feel safe and then, bang!" he says. "For me it was like, 'There's something wrong with this guy. Don't trust him. Be careful around him.' There's that anxiety."

Despite their tumultuous relationship, Tom says he did see his father one last time -- after a 10-year estrangement -- while he was terminally ill. "He was in the hospital dying of cancer, and he would only meet me on the basis that I didn't ask him anything about the past," he says. "When I saw him in pain, I thought, 'What a lonely life.' He was in his late 40s. It was sad."

The A-lister also opens up about his battle with dyslexia and recalls how perplexing it was for him to receive the diagnosis.

"The school took me to a psychiatrist to get tested," he says. "They said, 'Oh, he's dyslexic.' I'm labeled. It instantly put me into confusion. It was an absolute affront to my dignity."

It made him determined to get to the bottom of the condition. "I remember thinking, 'I've got to figure this out. What's normal? Am I normal? Who's to say what's normal?' I didn't understand what 'normal' is. It still doesn't make sense."

Tom: Katie Due 'Any Minute'

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

With fiancée Katie Holmes close to giving birth, expectant dad Tom Cruise still found time on Saturday to sit for a brief interview on German TV to promote his movie Mission: Impossible 3, set for worldwide release next month.

Speaking on the program Wetten, dass ..? (loosely translated: "Wanna Bet?"), Cruise said he arrived directly from the airport but worried he would have to head right back again "because Katie could be having our baby at any minute."

In fact, he said that two pilots were at the ready to fly him home should Holmes go into labor. "If Katie calls, I'm gone." He also assured his interviewer that Katie was feeling good. As for marriage, he said they would tie the knot over the summer.

"First the baby, then the film," he was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. "Then, in summer, we want to get married. I won't let this woman get away."

Mostly Cruise discussed M:I3 and how arduous the stunts were, though as he was saying goodbye, his hosts managed to sneak in one last question about the impending arrival. Have the parents-to-be picked out a name? Yes, Tom answered, though he wouldn't reveal it.

Schoolgirls Outrun Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey

For PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive Matthew McConaughey, this past week has offered some cases of win some, lose some. First, the lose some. On location in Huntington, W.Va., where he is filming We Are Marshall, a drama about a 1970 plane crash that claimed the lives of nearly an entire college football team, McConaughey was jogging around the Marshall University track when two middle-school girls challenged him to a 400-meter race. Never one to resist a contest, McConaughey accepted – and was beaten by a nose.

Asked at a press conference on Saturday about the incident, McConaughey laughed: "Those little girls had very, very long legs." Now, the win some. McConaughey is better looking that the real-life character he is portraying onscreen, former Marshall football coach Jack Lengyel, according to Lengyel himself who told the Associated Press: "I've never looked like Matthew McConaughey – before or after."

To prove his argument, Lengyel admitted that he won first place in an "ugliest man on campus" contest while attending Akron University in the 1950s. As for why he would make such an admission, the retired coach said: "I've been taking so much heat on Matthew, I decided to come out with that story to counterbalance it."

Though McConaughey doesn't look the part, Lengyel said he's spoken with actor about the story behind the film, and is sure he'll do it justice.

"He has recognized that this story is symbolic of faith, commitment and determination," said Lengyel, who was hired by Marshall in March 1971, four months after the team's chartered jet crashed into a hill short of Tri-State Airport, killing 75 people, including 36 football players.

As for how he feels about the role, "It's a great honor to be stepping into the shoes of someone like Jack Lengyel," said McConaughey. "It is very inspiring."

Star Love, Stolen Moments

NICOLE & KEITH

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban share the look of love at the Grammys. (He won for his song "You'll Think of Me.") Until then, the low-key Aussies, both 38, had courted in quiet hideaways in Connecticut and New York. "They speak the same language," says country singer Trace Adkins.

ANGELINA & BRAD

Not usually ones for PDA, Angelina Jolie, 30, and Brad Pitt, 42, can't resist a quick embrace recently in Paris, where the parents-to-be are vacationing with kids Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1. "Together they are the most beautiful couple, and there is a great feeling, an absolute feeling of love about them," says one local who met the pair.

CAMERON & JUSTIN

After two and a half years together, Cameron Diaz, 33, and Justin Timberlake, 25, still make time to smooch (left, in Palm Desert, Calif.). And even when they're apart, they're on each other's minds: "I heard a lot about (Cameron) in the makeup trailer," says Timberlake's Alpha Dog costar Amber Heard. "I think Justin is pretty in love."

MISCHA & CISCO

Mischa Barton, 20, and rocker Cisco Adler, 27, a couple since October, sneak a courtside cuddle at an L.A. Lakers home game. Despite rumors of fights, Adler insists they're solid. "She's just a great girl, all around," he tells PEOPLE. "Besides all the bull–, it's like, just strip it down and you'll see what a real person is, especially behind closed doors."

JESSICA & CASH

Director's assistant Cash Warren, 28, gets a grip on girlfriend Jessica Alba, 24, on vacation in Maui last month. What does the actress see in her beau of more than a year, whom she met while shooting Fantastic Four? "He's amazing in every way, shape and form," she says.

EVA & TONY

She's only 5'2", but Eva Longoria, 30, has no trouble seeing eye-to-eye with her 6'2" boyfriend, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker, 23 (planting a peck at the SAG Awards). And she's a regular at his games: "I'm so proud of him," Longoria tells PEOPLE. "It puts the biggest smile on my face when I get to see him do what he loves."

ASHANTI & NELLY

They've been linked for two years, and were snapped chilling on an Anguilla beach together last winter, but Nelly, 31, and Ashanti, 25 (cuddling at her surprise birthday party in New York City in October), remain coy about their relationship. "She's a beautiful girl," Nelly told an Australian newspaper last year. "We're good friends. Do we go out? We've been out before."

TORI & DEAN

Nicole & Keith Get Serious

LePaparazzi News Updates

Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, and Keith Urban

She may be an Oscar winner, but Nicole Kidman has embraced the role of being her boyfriend Keith Urban's No. 1 groupie with gusto. As her country rocker beau kicked off a surprise gig at Nashville’s Lipscomb University last month, Kidman was “just cheering like a fan,” a concertgoer tells PEOPLE in its new issue.

The actress has also embraced a surprisingly sedate life with the singer in Music City. The fellow Aussies, both 38, are now as much of a Nashville staple as the Grand Ole Opry – nesting at Urban’s mansion in the posh Green Hills neighborhood, dining out with neighbor LeAnn Rimes, flashing that whopping diamond ring of Kidman's all over town. (An engagement ring? The couple still won't say, though Kidman has been wearing it on her ring finger since November.)

Pals say there's no doubt Kidman and Urban are deeply in love. "They seem great together," says a source close to Kidman. "Real love just happens. You don't plan it. And that's what happened with them.

They fell in love." And lately, the spotlight-shy pair aren't afraid to show it – turning up together in the front row at February's Grammys (their first major event as a couple), gabbing with Barbara Walters at Vanity Fair's post-Oscars party and strolling hand-in-hand near Urban's home.

All of which, of course, means that folks from Malibu to Nashville's Music Row – including some close to the couple – are buzzing about when the two will set a wedding date. "They're perfect together," says a Nashville source. "I think they'll definitely get married."

Tori Separates Fact from Fiction

Tori Spelling

In the new VH1 sitcom So NoTORIous, Tori Spelling plays a fictional version of (wait for it . . . ) Tori Spelling. Tori-watchers will recognize this character as the Beverly Hills, 90210 star who grew up in a mansion complete with at least one gift-wrapping room.

But there are some differences: The faux Tori is single, while the real Tori is engaged to actor Dean McDermott, her boyfriend of seven months. To separate more fact from fiction, Spelling, 32, sat down with PEOPLE's Ulrica Wihlborg.

In the show, you tackle all the jokes about yourself. How does it feel to be the one to make the joke?

It’s been really freeing. I’ve been a target my entire life. At this point, there’s nothing anyone can say that will faze me. Bring it on! It’s more material for the show.

So you’re beyond being offended?

VH1 and Out magazine are (throwing) a party for the show, and they’re hiring Tori drag queens! They were like, "Does that offend you?" Of course it doesn’t offend me! There’s this famous drag queen called Suppositori Spelling. I’m like, "You have to find her!"

In the show you have a close relationship with the woman who was your nanny growing up. Is that based on real life?

Yes. I had a nanny who was like a second mother to me (she has since passed away). She was the biggest influence on me growing up. When I think about how I want to raise a child, it’s always things she taught me. I got my manners from her, for example. I wanted to pay homage to her; she would be so excited.

When the Tori character dates, it seems the guy always has an ulterior motive – either money or an acting job.

I’ve had that experience – I’d go on a couple of dates and think everything was great, and then I’d get a call and he’d say, “Hey, can you ask your dad (TV producer Aaron Spelling) if I can audition for his show?”

You’re a producer of So NoTORIous – have you always wanted to emulate your dad in that respect?

I always wanted to learn about that world. On summer vacations since I was 5 years old, I would go to the office with him every day if I could and pretend I was his assistant. When my brother wanted to play with toys, I wanted to go to the (Dynasty) set and hang out with Joan Collins!

Your mother on the show is a pretty unlikeable character – is it true your real mom isn’t speaking to you because of it?

It’s not true. My family knows the mother is not based on my mother. I like the mother-daughter dynamic on the show, because I think it’s a difficult relationship, and that’s something my mother and I have always shared. But that should never be taken as “we don’t love each other."

Cameron Courts Victory in Topless Pics Case

Cameron Diaz

The battle over Cameron Diaz's bare breasts is over.

The In Her Shoes star is no doubt walking on air after a resounding victory in her lawsuit against a now imprisoned photographer. Diaz's publicist, Brad Cafarelli, confirmed Friday that a Los Angeles judge has awarded Diaz statutory damages in the case, which involved the illicit sale of topless photos and video taken of the actress more than a decade ago, before she was an A-lister.

In his ruling Thursday, the judge also dismissed a countersuit that the shutterbug, John Rutter, had brought against Diaz, accusing her of fraud and breach of contract. A further ruling is expected on whether Rutter must foot Diaz's legal bill.

Diaz sued Rutter in 2004 for unauthorized commercial use of her name and image after the photog tried to get her to buy the photos for $3.3 million. When she balked, he threatened to sell them to a European advertising agency for $5 million.

Rutter in turn sued Diaz for $10 million, claiming she expressed interest in buying the pictures and lured him into a trap.

Diaz's lawyers tipped off police, who arrested Rutter. Last July, he was convicted of felony charges of forgery, perjury and attempted grand larceny. Rutter is currently serving a nearly four-year sentence for being, as the judge in the criminal case declared, the "shot-caller in a scheme to defraud Miss Diaz."

As for the racy images, they have been secreted away far from the public eye. The judge in the civil case issued a permanent injunction barring any sale, license or use of the photos and videotape.

Diaz, meanwhile, will be next be seen--fully clothed--on screen in The Holiday, a romantic comedy costarring Kate Winslett and Jack Black due out Dec. 8.

Howard Stern Lashes Out at Some Fans

Howard Stern

NEW YORK - Howard Stern is angry more fans haven't followed him to satellite radio. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 52-year-old shock jock lashes out at those of his fan base who haven't made the transition to Sirius Satellite Radio.

In January, Stern moved his popular and bawdy morning show to the subscription satellite radio provider.

"I was just at my psychiatrist and I said, `I just got great news: We hit the 4 million mark. And I'm angry. It should be 20 million,'" Stern says in the magazine, on newsstands Monday.

It's insulting to me that everyone hasn't come with me. I take it personally," he says.
"I want to say to my audience ... `You haven't come with me yet? How dare you? We're up to wild, crazy stuff, the show has never sounded better. You cheap bastard!'"

In February, CBS Radio, formerly known as Infinity Broadcasting, filed a lawsuit against Stern for improperly using airtime to promote his new show on Sirius.
Stern has claimed the lawsuit is without merit.
