Jon Voight says he's delighted with the new arrivals
Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight has spoken out to say that he's overjoyed at the birth of her twins.
The actress gave birth to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline on Saturday 12 July by Caesarean section.
‘I love kids and can’t wait to see the twins,’ he says.
'I’m very excited for Angie and Brad and the babies – as well as for their brothers and sisters. It's such a beautiful time.’
Angelina, 33, and Jon, 69, fell out 6 years ago after he spoke candidly to the press about her. They only recently reconciled after Brad Pitt, 44, encouraged them to start talking.
Brad and Angelina have 4 other children – daughter Shiloh, 2, and adopted kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3.
I believe that everyone deserves a second chance. Jon and the kids need to get too know one another. Grandparents are one of the most special and loving relationships that you can have!
