Eminem releases new album 'Relapse' after four years

THE real Slim Shady has stood up — and has confirmed he is back.

EMINEM, who gave up performing four years ago after releasing his last effort Encore, announced that his sixth album will be out by the end of the year.

He revealed on his satellite radio station Shade 45 the new CD will be called Relapse and will be on the shelves soon.

He said: “There are a lot of fake album titles floating out there — a lot of bull**** titles.

“The real title of my album that’s coming out is Relapse.”

He has been in “retirement” following a stint in rehab recovering from addiction to sleeping pills.

He also remarried his first wife KIM before filing for divorce again 11 weeks later.

On top of all that, his best friend and onstage sidekick PROOF was murdered — so the title of the album does seem pretty apt.

The comeback has been produced by DR DRE, freeing him up to write top-notch lyrics.

At the same time as the announcement, he played a new track from the album called I Need A Relapse, about a prescription pill-popping serial killer.

The song, which begins: “I said, guess who’s back”, is already getting rave reviews on t’internet. I’ve had a listen and it gets my vote.

The Christmas release schedule is looking mental — Eminem, TAKE THAT, PETER KAY, BRITNEY SPEARS and an X Factor winner.
