Mark Ruffalo's brother dies a week after shooting

GRIEVING MARK RUFFALO has reportedly dropped out of his latest movie project.

The actor, whose brother Scott died on Monday a week after receiving a gunshot wound to the head, has pulled out of indie drama Greenburg.

Although a reason for Mark’s departure hasn’t been given, it is believed he is keen to spend time with his family.

It is likely Mark will be replaced by BEN STILLER in the movie, which is written and directed by NOAH BAUMBACH.

Mark has released a statement thanking fans for their support, shortly after Scott died on Monday when his life support machine was turned off.

It read: "Mark Ruffalo and his family deeply appreciate the outpouring of prayers and support during this most difficult time of the passing of Scott Ruffalo, beloved son, brother and husband. The funeral service will be private. A memorial fund has been established in Scott Ruffalo's name."

It has been claimed Scott accidentally shot himself on December 1 after playing lethal game of chance Russian roulette.
