In September, fashion industry titan Tom Ford returned to women’s wear with a New York show that only included a small selection of fashion industry insiders. In fact, it was so private that only one photographer attended and no photos were released until just this week. The January 2011 issue of fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar UK will be releasing photos of Tom Ford models that include Beyoncé, Lauren Hutton, and Julianne Moore.

Beyoncé was photographed in a magnificent sequined sheath dress, with fishnet stockings and “supersized” hair. She apparently enjoyed the experience: “It was so much fun! It felt like a performance,” she told Bazaar.

Wearing a vest and tiny shorts, his stunning wife BEYONCE KNOWLES frolics with a male model on a sunny beach in Malibu.

Though it should be stressed their touchy-feely antics are all in the name of make believe - the Single Ladies star hit the sand to shoot her new video.

With a huge grin splashed across her face, Beyonce sure looked like she was enjoying herself as the waters lapped at her feet.

Beyonce claims she's no diva but a normal girl

BEYONCE is just a normal girl, according to the singer herself.

The Crazy In Love hit maker doesn't think her Diva reputation is fair and says she enjoys life more when she is out of the spotlight.

Beyonce explained: "I'm not this round the clock diva looking for attention.

"I'm way more comfortable out of the spotlight and just chilling out with my family.

"I'm very quiet. I love to paint. I love to watch TV though it seems I never get to do it. I love a lot old television shows. I still love the Cosbys. I also love the Fresh Prince."

Beyonce Knowles turned down a lucrative deal to sell her wedding photos.

The singer tied the knot with Jay-Z, 39, in New York in April 2008.

But the couple wanted to keep the ceremony as private as possible.

‘I didn’t want a dramatic wedding,’ she says. ‘People can sometimes put too much emphasis on the big day, but it’s so temporary, it’s gone in a second.

‘They offered us crazy money, but we weren’t interested. Outside it was paparazzi madness, but inside it was beautiful.’

Beyonce, 27, is enjoying being a newlywed.

‘I knew I wouldn’t get married before the age of 25,’ she tells Fabulous.

‘You have to know yourself, know what you want, spend time by yourself and be proud of who you are before you can share with someone else.

‘I was 18 when we met, so there was no rush. But the wait was worth it. It feels great being married. I had my own life before I became someone’s wife.’

Claws out in battle for No1

THE mother of all chart battles kicks off a week today.
Pop divas BRITNEY SPEARS, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, LEONA LEWIS and BEYONCE are releasing singles on the same day.

I’m dubbing November 3 D-Day in honour of the four babes as they go head to head.

Her new offering, Womanizer, is another precision-tooled pop rocket. The video has her writhing naked in a sauna and, surprise surprise, is getting loads of airplay.

I can also exclusively reveal her eagerly awaited X Factor slot will be on November 29. Britney’s one time arch-rival Christina is issuing the title track from Keeps Gettin’ Better, her Greatest Hits collection, and it’s a stomping glam-pop banger.

Finally, Beyonce’s track If I Were A Boy, which is released digitally, is probably the most surprising of the lot.

She’s already ahead on points thanks to the stunning promo shot shown above, and has produced a belting but serious ballad about the (alleged) faults of the male species.

HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo said: “We haven’t had a heavyweight chart battle like this for a while. It’s wide open but you have to fancy Britney, perhaps just ahead of Leona.”

In terms of album sales Britney is way ahead of the pack with an extraordinary 76million under her belt.

Beyonce has sold 63million, though half were with former group DESTINY’S CHILD.

Christina is next with 42million while Leona has notched up three million sales, for her debut Spirit — but she is the biggest-selling artist of the year so far Stateside.

Rest assured, I’ll bring you the latest from the epic battle as it happens.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for the home-grown talent though.

Rihanna kicks off New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week kicked off in an explosion of style and sounds on Friday as a host of some of the trendiest stars around flocked to Radio City Music Hall for the fifth Fashion Rocks event.

Making her mark was stylish Barbadian Rihanna. The beautiful Umbrella singer looked gorgeous in a black ruffled Monique Lhuiller frock at her arrival. She later donned a glitzy leotard to wow the audience with a showgirl performance. Black-Eyed Peas singer Fergie, meanwhile, went for boho chic with a Gucci outfit featuring an ethnic-inspired blouse.

Fellow songstress Beyonce donned several glamorous looks for her time in the spotlight. Performing with SexyBack star Justin Timberlake, the former Destiny's Child singer sparkled in a Jean-Paul Gaultier catsuit with plunging neckline. Then it was a change of look – with short blonde wig – with a classy Zuhair Murad cocktail dress, in this season's key mustard colour.

Not to be outdone, the stars of the silver screen were also showing their style credentials. Fresh from watching the catwalks was Charlize Theron, casually chic in tight fitting trousers matched with a silver blazer she had earlier seen on the Rag And Bone runway that day.

And Hilary Swank was lovely in lilac in a one-shouldered couture dress from Givenchy.
