Topping the polls for the 'Most desirable woman of 2009' is the stunning Eva Mendes. The poll was based on readers of the Askmen.com to choose their favorite mate based on "intelligence, charisma and ambition".

As reported by the Usmagazine.com, Megan Fox landed the second spot followed by Marisa Miller. Fourth on the list is Keeley Hazell stood fourth and Anne Hathway rounded off the top five.

The other beautiful women on the list are Scarlett Johansson, Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz, Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron.

Eva Mendes' breast modesty

Eva Mendes doesn't like wearing low cut tops, but will "bring the girls out" on special occasions.

'The Women' actress - who has been dating filmmaker George Gargurevich since 2002 - admits she prefers to keep her ample chest under wraps.

She is quoted as saying: "I don't wear short things. As for cleavage, I'll bring the girls out at certain times but I don't parade them too often. I like to keep them for special occasions!"


Eva, 34, recently revealed she loves wearing high heels, but never buys heels above 5ins because she finds it so difficult to move around.

She said: "I absolutely love shoes. I can never have too many pairs. I especially love ones with huge stiletto heels - but it's always a circus act when I walk in them. I am all over the place."

Eva can next been seen in revolutionary animated movie 'The Spirit', in which she stars alongside Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.

Eva Mendes says "love is the sexiest thing in the world."

The 34-year-old actress - who is dating producer George Augusto - admits she likes nothing more than being in a relationship.

Eva, the face of Calvin Klein's Secret Obsession fragrance, said: "My secret obsession is love. I love 'love!' I love being in love, and I love having someone be in love with me. Love is the sexiest thing in the world."


Eva also revealed she vowed not to lose weight for the raunchy photo shoot for Calvin Klein's Seductive Comfort underwear line.

The actress, who is seen clad in skimpy lingerie complete with tousled hair, told America's OK! magazine: "To prepare for the Calvin Klein shoot, all I did differently was increase my cardio for two weeks because I wanted these images to look like my real, healthy body. I didn't want to show up looking like the skinny version of me. I wanted the real version of me up there."

Family has always been very important for the actress and model. Despite her career taking her all over, she once confessed her favourite place was her mum's home.

Eva Mendes has revealed she was left speechless when she met Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

The starstruck actress bumped into the 65-year-old in a hotel lift in France 4 years ago.

‘I literally collapsed when he got out a floor later,’ the 34-year says. ‘He's delicious, he still looks really good.’

And Eva says she was unable to play it cool when she was reunited with rocker Mick, who's a producer on her new film The Women.

'I thought: "He's never going to remember me," so I just say: "Hi, I'm Eva, nice to meet you," and he says: "Oh, I think we met in Paris."

The 'Ghost Rider' actress admits she loves food but is so bad at cooking she does not even try any more.

She said: "I have too much respect for food to do what I've done to it in the past. Man, I've really killed some stuff."

The actress also revealed despite her svelte figure, she has never cut down on junk food to maintain her weight.

She said: "I'd shock you at how much I could eat. Any kind of dessert is fantastic. It's gross, but I also love cup noodles. I'll eat two at a time because the salt really does it for me. They're so cheap so they can't be that good for you, but they're yummy!"

Eva added she only really watches her diet when she is filming, and allows herself to indulge at other times.

She explained: "If I have a shoot I'll work out more and watch what I eat, but if I don't I'll let myself go. I'm addicted to bread. I want it constantly so, right now, I'm letting myself have more of it but when I start my next movie I'll cut down."

Eva Mendes: Addiction is "Life or death situation"

Eva Mendes is surprisingly grateful for the vicious rumors regarding her reported substance abuse which circulated soon after the actress entered rehab last February.

“There are so many lies out there regarding my recent trip to Cirque Lodge,” she tells Interview in their August issue. “[But] I was so happy about that, because it’s when they get the real scoop that would make me really nervous. In a way, you want it to be a lie, because when it’s true it’s time to rethink who’s in your circle.”

She added, “Everybody is so highly visible now. We see everything. We see what celebrities buy at the supermarket. I’m confused by this whole celebrity-obsessed culture.”

The actress applauds others who have followed suit dismissing the negative stigma associated with rehab.

“I’m proud of people who have the determination and the fearlessness to actually go and face their demons and get better,” she tells the magazine. “This is a life or death situation. People have died, and I’ve lost friends too–even recently.”

The Rodin Museum in the City of Lights was the place to be to check out the latest looks from one of the fashion industry’s top designers - just ask Kanye West, Liv Tyler, Eva Mendes and Claudia Schiffer.

Miss Mendes showed up at the event with a big smile and a very bright ensemble, including an orange top and pink belted skirt teamed with a pair of super-high white heels.

Meanwhile Liv Tyler kept things more conservative hue-wise with a short-sleeved belted black dress with black strappy heels and a black leather handbag.

Fashion icon Claudia Schiffer dressed to get attention in a silver v-neckline dress, while the always-interesting Kanye West kept it casual in a classic white t-shirt underneath a white hooded jacket with a pair of black shades.
